BIOGRAFIA BIOGRAPHY

Nasce a Napoli il 13 luglio 1986.
Pittrice e docente di Arte e Tecnologia alla Scuola Paritaria Secondaria di Primo Grado. Dopo il diploma conseguito all’Istituto Statale d’Arte „Filippo Palizzi“ come ceramista, si laurea in Scultura all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Napoli nel 2011.
Si trasferisce a Milano nel 2012 e nel 2015 si laurea all’Accademia di BRERA in Scenografia per il Teatro.
Nella stessa facoltà, due anni dopo, diventerà assistente docente per il corso di Modellistica teatrale e cinematografica.
Nel 2017 ha tenuto un seminario di scenografia presso Oneiros Teatro ed ha pubblicato, in diversi numeri, un articolo sulla scenografia per
G.A.T.a.L.
A Milano, dal 2013 in poi, ha lavorato per diverse compagnie teatrali come scenografa e partecipa, tra Milano e Roma, a mostre di pittura.
Tra il 2021 e il 2023 realizza la copertina dell’ultimo album “Almas” del percussautore napoletano Tony Cercola.
Suona il violoncello dal 2021, dal 2022 al 2024 ha suonato con l’orchestra amatoriale “8Note”, membro dell’ AIMA (Associazione Italiana Musicisti Amatori) e di g.A.r.t.e. come artista.
Alessandra è molto influenzata dalla musica, in particolare da quella di Franco Battiato, nelle sue opere vi è una perenne ricerca di sinergie
tra musica, linee, geometrie e contrasti cromatici.
Vive e lavora a Milano.

She’s born in Naples on July 13, 1986.
She is a painter and teacher of Art and Technology at the Private Secondary School. After graduating from the “Filippo Palizzi” State Art Institute as a ceramist, she graduated in Sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples in 2011.
She moved to Milan in 2012 and graduated from the Brera Academy in 2015 with a degree in Theater Set Design.
Two years later, she became a teaching assistant for the Theater and Film Modeling course at the same faculty.
In 2017, she held a scenography seminar at Oneiros Teatro and published an article on scenography in several issues for
G.A.T.a.L.
In Milan, from 2013 onwards, she worked for various theater companies as a set designer and participated in painting exhibitions in Milan and Rome.
Between 2021 and 2023, she created the cover for Neapolitan percussionist Tony Cercola’s latest album, “Almas.”
She has been playing the cello since 2021, and from 2022 to 2024 she played with the amateur orchestra “8Note,” a member of AIMA (Italian Association of Amateur Musicians) and g.A.r.t.e. as an artist.
Alessandra is greatly influenced by music, in particular that of Franco Battiato. Her work embodies a constant search for synergies
between music, lines, geometries, and chromatic contrasts.
She lives and works in Milan.
