BIOGRAFIA BIOGRAPHY

Nasce a Napoli il 13 luglio 1986. Milanese d’adozione, è una pittrice di formazione accademica e musicista amatoriale; docente di Arte e Tecnologia alla Scuola Paritaria Primaria e Secondaria di Primo Grado. Dopo un brillante diploma conseguito all’Istituto Statale d’Arte „Filippo Palizzi“ come ceramista, si laurea in Scultura all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Napoli nel 2011.
Si trasferisce a Milano nel 2012 e nel 2015 si laurea all’Accademia di BRERA in Scenografia per il Teatro. Nella stessa facoltà, due anni dopo, diventerà assistente docente per il corso di Modellistica teatrale e cinematografica.
Nel 2017 ha tenuto un seminario di scenografia presso Oneiros Teatro ed ha pubblicato, in diversi numeri, un articolo sulla scenografia per G.A.T.a.L.
A Milano, dal 2013 in poi, ha lavorato per diverse compagnie teatrali come scenografa e partecipa, tra Milano e Roma, a mostre di pittura.
Tra il 2021 e il 2023 realizza la copertina dell’ultimo album “Almas” del percussautore napoletano Tony Cercola.
Suona il violoncello dal 2020; ha suonato con l’orchestra amatoriale “8Note”, orchestra classica “Archetipi” del Maestro Renato Rivolta; tutt’ora suona il violoncello nella band “Arkelettrike” e fa parte di g.A.r.t.e. e di Associazione Naviglio Grande come artista.
Alessandra è molto influenzata dalla musica, in particolare da quella di Franco Battiato,  nelle sue opere vi è una perenne ricerca di sinergie tra musica, linee, geometrie e contrasti cromatici.
Vive e lavora a Milano.

She born in Naples on July 13, 1986. Milanese for adoction, she is an academically trained painter and amateur musician, as well as a teacher of Art and Technology at a private primary and lower-secondary school. After earning a diploma with honors in ceramics from the “Filippo Palizzi” State Art Institute, she graduated in Sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples in 2011.

She moved to Milan in 2012 and, in 2015, graduated in Theatre Set Design from the Brera Academy. Two years later, at the same institution, she became a teaching assistant for the course on Theatrical and Cinematic Modeling. In 2017, she conducted a seminar on set design at Oneiros Teatro and published a series of articles on the subject for G.A.T.a.L. Since 2013, she has worked as a set designer for various theater companies in Milan and has participated in painting exhibitions in both Milan and Rome.

Between 2021 and 2023, she created the cover art for “Almas”, the latest album by Neapolitan percussionist and singer-songwriter Tony Cercola.

She has played the cello since 2020, performing with the “8Note” amateur orchestra and Maestro Renato Rivolta’s “Archetipi” classical orchestra; she currently plays in the band “Arkelettrike” and is an active artist member of g.A.r.t.e. and the Associazione Naviglio Grande.

Alessandra’s work is deeply influenced by music – particularly that of Franco Battiato – and reflects a constant search for synergy between music, lines, geometric forms, and color contrasts. She lives and works in Milan.
